Ministry Of Culture Holds People's Party Starting The 2025 CHANDI International Event In Bali

The People's Party ahead of the cultural conference at the global level of Culture, Heritage, Art, Narrative, Diplomacy, and Innovation (CHANDI) 2025 was also held at Discovery Mall, Kuta, Bali. Opened by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Bambang Wibawarta, in his speech he said that this activity is a series of CHANDI 2025 events which will be held on September 5 2025 at Sanur, Bali.

The People's Party is the first event of THE 2025 CHANDI event, the peak of which is the meeting of delegates from various countries. At the meeting there will also be Declaration for Culture with the theme Culture for the Future, which will also collaborate with two universities, namely Udayana University and the Bali Art Institute for discussion and seminars, as well as cultural visits to Panglipuran Village and Green School Bali," he explained.

Furthermore, Secretary General Bambang Wibawarta also stated that the 2025 CHANDI was confirmed to be attended by representatives from 45 countries consisting of cultural ministers, deputy ministers, ambassadors, cultural figures, and others. He also expressed his appreciation to the Bali Provincial Government for his support and contribution to the implementation of the 2025 CHANDI.

Head of the Bali Provincial Culture Office, I Gede Arya Sugiartha, in his speech said that he welcomed the implementation of the 2025 CHANDI which was held in the province of Bali. According to him, as one of the islands with a diversity of interactions that are not only Balinese but also foreign, the CHANDI 2025 cultural conference is very fitting to be held in Bali.

"With Bali's commitment to building, strengthening, and advancing culture, CHANDI's activities are very fitting to be held on the Island of the Gods, because all citizens from all over the country can interact in discussing culture. We are sure that the CHANDI echo will spread throughout the world," he said.

Located at Discovery Mall, one of the centers in Kuta which is known to be one of the most popular tourist places with the most popular sunset views, a number of artists also presented their works to visitors, such as the Sari Ethnic Janger Collaboration LED Drum Percussion Dance, Archipelago Dance, Tridatu Dance, and Hanoman Rahwana Trip to Bali Dance, as well as the performances of solo singers from Bali, Yessy Diana, Agapeea and Gus Yuda.

One of the tourists who was also present to witness the People's Party, Amira, a Yemeni citizen who was on vacation in Bali admitted that he was very impressed with the performances of Indonesian dancers and culture. According to him, the most memorable dance is Tridatu Dance. Diction, said Tridatu on the island of Bali, has its own philosophical meaning, one of which is manifested in the form of a Tridatu bracelet. Tridatu Bali is the triple thread color (red, white, and black) which has deep religious meaning for Balinese Hindus.
