Cak Imin Orders PKB Cadres To Pray Magically For Affan Kurniawan

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) instructed all his party cadres to hold a supernatural prayer for the death of Affan Kurniawan, an online motorcycle taxi driver who was run over by a tactical vehicle (rantis) Brimob Polri.

According to Cak Imin, Affan is a warrior figure and the backbone of the family who opens many eyes to the public to voice justice.

This occult prayer is a form of PKB's best respect and prayer for the late Affan Kurniawan. The deceased is a symbol of determination and devotion. PKB will continue to be a party that cares about family fighters throughout Indonesia," said Cak Imin, Friday, August 29.

In addition, Cak Imin also ordered his cadres to hold a prayer for the safety of the nation simultaneously. This instruction was conveyed as a form of PKB's commitment to maintaining and caring for national conduciveness, which is considered the main key to the progress of the nation.

"Tonight I instruct all PKB cadres to hold prayers for the safety of the nation. Conduciveness is the foundation for development and progress. Without a safe and peaceful atmosphere, it is impossible for us to achieve Indonesia's great ideals," he said.

Furthermore, Cak Imin also appealed to all Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia to participate in holding prayer together, praying that Indonesia would always be in a safe, peaceful, and kept away from all forms of division.

"Pesantren adalah basang moral dan spiritual bangsa. Doa dari para kiai, ibu nyai, santri, dan masyarakat pesantren sangat kita butuh agar Indonesia selalu diberi keberkahan dan perlindungan oleh Allah SWT," tambahnya.

As previously reported, President Prabowo Subianto expressed his disappointment with the repressive actions of the police officers who hit and ran over Affan Kurniawan. He had ordered the incident to be thoroughly investigated.

"If it is found that they are acting out of accordance and applicable regulations, we will take strict action according to applicable law," Prabowo was quoted as saying in the video caption.

Seven policemen were arrested in connection with the random incident that hit this ojol driver. They are Kompol C, Aipda M, Bripka R, Briptu D, Bripda M, Baraka Y, and Baraka J.

Those involved are currently undergoing examination by the Divpropam Police Headquarters and Propam Mako Brimob.

As a result of the incident, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has also apologized and admitted that he regretted the incident.
