Friday Blessings Ditjenpas: Sharing Free Food For The Community

The Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) again held a social service activity entitled "Friday Blessings" on Friday, August 29. On this occasion, as many as 500 free lunch packages were distributed to the public and road users around the Ditjenpas office, as a tangible manifestation of social concern as well as support for President Prabowo Subianto's Fast Best Result Program (PHTC).

The distribution of healthy and nutritious food was led directly by the Director General of Corrections (Dirjenpas), Mashudi, accompanied by the Primary High Leadership and Ditjenpas employees. The activity took place in a spirit of togetherness.

"This social service on Friday Berkah is a routine activity that we carry out as a form of concern for people in need, as well as affirming the presence of correctional communities that are beneficial to the wider community," said Mashudi.

Dirjenpas added that this activity is also in line with the 13 Acceleration Programs of the Minister of Immigration and Corrections, Agus Andrianto, especially on the 4th point, namely providing social assistance to the families of the inmates who are poor and the surrounding community.

This activity was greeted enthusiastically by the community. One road user, for example R, said he was happy and helped. "We are grateful for the lunch that was distributed. This small concern is very meaningful for people in need," he said.

At the end of the activity, Dirjenpas expressed his hope that social awareness like this could continue to be inflamed, both in the head office of the Ditjenpas, Regional Office, and the entire Correctional Technical Implementation Unit. "Hopefully this sharing spirit will become a shared culture," he concluded.
