Prabowo: Golkar Affirms Commitment To Support Government Programs

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto conveyed that the Golkar Party reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government priority programs.

"As a coalition partner, the Golkar Party (Golkar) conveys various constructive inputs, as well as reaffirms their commitment to supporting government priority programs," Prabowo said as quoted from the upload of the X@prabowo social media account reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 27.

Prabowo said the meeting with the Golkar Party's DPP board as a gathering event as well as a room to discuss the sustainability of the nation and state development in the future.

According to President Prabowo, Golkar emphasized support for the enforcement of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution regarding the management of state assets for the greatest prosperity of the people.

The Head of State hopes that the relationship with the Golkar Party can be maintained so as to strengthen national unity and support the realization of people's welfare.

"I hope this gathering will continue to be maintained in order to strengthen national unity and realize the welfare of the people," said President Prabowo.

Chairman of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia together with core administrators from the Golkar Party Central Board discussed the coalition with the government in the future in a meeting for approximately two and a half hours with President Prabowo Subianto.

"This is a discussion that I think is very productive. Because we are talking not only now, but we are also talking about how the coalition going forward is in a better and more productive direction," said Bahlil.

Bahlil explained that the party's core management bearing the banyan tree held constructive discussions with President Prabowo, especially regarding Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution concerning the use of natural resources for the prosperity of the community.
