Police Immediately Receive Unram Student Autopsy Results Found Dead By Tengkurap On North Lombok Beach

The forensic team completed an autopsy on the body of a student from Mataram University (Unram) with the initials initials (19) who was found dead on her stomach on the coast of Nipah, Malacca Village, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

"The autopsy has been completed. Now it will be taken to the funeral home," said Head of Police Doctor Affairs (Dokpol) Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital Iptu Madiasa after transferring MV's body to a hearse in Mataram, Wednesday afternoon, confiscated by Antara.

With the completion of the autopsy of the student from Pajang, Mataram City, Madiasa said that the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital would forward the results to the North Lombok Police who were investigating this case.

"The results of the autopsy will be submitted to investigators. Later for further information by investigators," he said.

North Lombok Police Chief AKBP Agus Purwanta previously said that his party had obtained the chronology of the incident from the follow-up to the discovery of MV's body on Wednesday morning.

Based on the testimony of witnesses and the victim's family, MV on Tuesday (26/8) afternoon with his colleague, a man with the initials RA (19) left using a two-wheeled vehicle from Unram to Nipah Beach, North Lombok Regency, which was the location where the victim's body was found.

"The intention of them leaving wanted to enjoy the dusk. However, until 24.00 WITA, MV was conveyed that the family had not come home, so the victim's parents checked with the victim's college colleagues," he said.

"Knowing that the last victim went with RA to Nipah beach, the family then headed to the location to conduct a search," he said.

At around 01.30 WITA, the victim RA was found unconscious around the crime scene and was immediately taken to the Nipah Health Center.

Not far from the location of RA, on Wednesday morning at around 06.30 WITA, the victim MV was found dead.

The evidence that was successfully secured at the location was a black Honda PCX two-wheeled vehicle that was allegedly used by RA and MV to the Nipah beach. The vehicle has now been secured at the Winner's Police Headquarters.

Due to this incident, the Criminal Investigation Team together with the identification unit conducted an investigation of the crime scene and the victim RA who was unconscious with a scar on his head was treated at Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital.

The North Lombok Police Chief emphasized that the handling of this case is still ongoing in the investigation stage to reveal the cause of MV's death.
