"This year, we will also open 148 study programs in 57 medical faculties, and also these 125 programs are for specialists, and the rest, 23 are subspecialist programs. I want to add medical faculty. We have to add more now, the number of students and the number of graduates," said President Prabowo.
"My target is that there will be 30 new medical faculties. God willing, to pursue the 70,000 specialists and general practitioners, the shortage is 140,000," said Prabowo.

"The lack of paramedics is happening all over the world. We are fighting, Europe, America, lack of doctors, lack of medical personnel. So, we have to work hard," said President Prabowo.
The President stressed that he must use all his abilities to achieve his goals, namely the best health, his services for all Indonesian people, because health and education are part of welfare.
"Welfare is the right of all Indonesian people, including the poorest, and those who live in the most remote areas are entitled to the best health services," said President Prabowo.
The President also emphasized that education and health are a manifestation of true democracy, because countries that have succeeded in upholding democracy are countries that can provide education with the best service, and the best health services.
