The police revealed the moments of vandalizing the car belonging to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) by the mass demonstration in the DPR/MPR area.

The vandalism went viral on social media. The mob damaged a car that allegedly belonged to a member of the DPR. The mob hit and broke the car's window using bamboo.

The destruction began when the victim left the DPR RI building to go to his office at one of the Ministry of Agriculture, on Monday, August 25 at around 15.00 WIB.

Then, on the way to be precise in front of Senayan Park, turn back under the flyover, the victim's vehicle was blocked by the demonstrators.

"It was intercepted by the demonstrators and carried out the same damage to the victim's car," said Ade.

Destruction is done by hitting a car using bamboo and wooden blocks. In fact, some threw stones at it.

As a result of the vandalism, a black car with ZZH number plate was badly damaged. The rear car window and left or right side were broken

"To damage the victim's car together by hitting the car using wood and throwing stones at the car," he said.

Based on uploads on social media, the vandalism was carried out because the masses thought the car belonged to members of the DPR RI. However, the facts obtained belonged to ASN in one of the Ministries.

"The victim has the initials BB, the ASN work," he said.

Currently, the investigation process is being carried out. Police are still gathering evidence to arrest and determine the suspect.
