JAKARTA - Operational Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport, Kuantan reopened on Friday 22 August afternoon. The temporary closure following the Malaysian Royal Air Force (RMAF) fighter jet crashed on Thursday night 21 August.

The fighter jet crashed on the runway at 21.05 yesterday. The two RMAF officers who drove the jet managed to eject before the plane crashed.
