Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer's Wealth Increased by IDR 12.7 Billion in 3 Years

JAKARTA - The Deputy Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer, has seen a drastic increase in his wealth. In just three years, his assets have increased by approximately IDR 12.7 billion.

According to data from the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) submitted to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Immanuel Ebenezer's assets reached IDR 17.6 billion in 2024.

"Total assets amount to IDR 17,620,260,877," stated the LHKPN data, quoted by VOI on Thursday, August 21.

This wealth has increased drastically compared to the previous period, or IDR 4,840,260,877, or IDR 4.8 billion.

According to the LHKPN (State Income Tax) data, Immanuel Ebenezer's assets increased from when he served as President Commissioner of PT Mega Eltra on December 31, 2021.

This represents an increase in his assets of IDR 12,780,000,000, or IDR 12.7 billion.

Furthermore, looking back to the period ending December 31, 2020, Immanuel Ebenezer's assets also increased by IDR 1,879,266,872, or IDR 1.8 billion.

During that period, Immanuel Ebenezer, an Independent Commissioner of PT Mega Eltra, reported assets totaling IDR 2,960,334,005.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a sting operation (OTT) and arrested Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer on the evening of Wednesday, August 20th.

It is suspected that extortion was related to the processing of occupational safety and health (K3) certification.

"(The sting operation is related to) extortion of companies related to the processing of K3 certification," said KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto.
