BEKASI - Bekasi Regency, West Java was again rocked by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 on Thursday, August 21 at around 06.05 WIB.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the epicenter of this earthquake was at coordinates 6.4 degrees south latitude and 107.27 degrees east longitude.

The epicenter was about 16 kilometers southeast of Bekasi Regency at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Previously, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 rocked Bekasi Regency, Wednesday, August 20 at around 19:54 WIB, resulting in damage to a number of buildings.

The tremors of the earthquake felt strong in Bekasi and the surrounding area, including Jakarta. Until early Thursday morning, residents still felt aftershocks.
