Foreign Minister Sugiono Discusses MBG To German Language Training With Foreign Minister Wadephul

JAKARTA - Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono invited Germany to work together to support the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program to the expansion of the Indonesian migrant worker delivery sector, when receiving a visit from German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, Wednesday.

In the meeting at the Pancasila Building, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers discussed strengthening cooperation in various fields that were shared priorities.

In the field of food security, Foreign Minister Sugiono invited Germany to work together in one of the priority programs of President Prabowo Subianto's Government, Free Nutrition Food (MBG).

To support MBG, Foreign Minister Sugiono invited Germany to work together in sustainable agriculture, livestock, and solar-powered cold storage technology.

Meanwhile, in the employment sector, the two countries encourage the expansion of cooperation in the hospitality sector. Foreign Minister Sugiono praised the success of the cooperation program between the two countries that already exist in this sector.

Foreign Minister Sugiono revealed that the "Triple Win" program in the cooperation sector of the two countries managed to send 329 Indonesian health workers to Germany.

Reflecting on this success, Foreign Minister Sugiono said the two ministers took the initiative to expand the shipping sector for Indonesian migrant workers in the hospitality sector.

"Language understanding is the key," said Foreign Minister Sugiono.

"The German Foreign Minister said extensive language training programs were also offered by the German side, so that the "Triple Win" program that has been running will increasingly reach many candidates for Indonesian migrant workers in Germany," he added.

It is known, since establishing diplomatic relations on June 25, 1952, Germany has become one of Indonesia's main partners in Europe.
