The West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. (Sudin) said the fire that occurred at City Park Apartment, Cengkareng, West Jakarta was caused by a gas leak.
"The alleged cause of the fire was a gas leak while cooking," said Head of the Operations Section of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Syarifudin when confirmed, Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Syarifudin also explained that the estimated area burned was approximately 12 square meters with an estimated loss of around Rp45 million.
"There were no fatalities, 10 survivors but one moderately injured victim, was burned and has been taken to the Bunda Suci Hospital," he explained.
He added that the fire was confirmed to be completed at 20.27 WIB by deploying 22 cars and 110 firefighters.
