JAKARTA - Rapin Mudiardjo (FHUI 96) officially ran as a candidate for the General Chair of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) for the 2025-2028 period, ready to compete with six other candidates.
Armed with a long experience in the fields of law, public policy, and information technology, he is ready to bring a big vision to make ILUNI UI an inclusive, progressive, and competitive organization.
Since completing a study at the UI Faculty of Law in 2002, Rapin started his career as a journalist.
A year later, he obtained permission to have an act in court and stepped into a professional path as an advocate.
His career journey spans various fields, ranging from law, business, technology, to the public sector. Currently, he chooses to return to his beloved campus to complete the Doctoral program at FHUI.
As one of the candidates for the Chairman of ILUNI UI, Rapin echoed BIG's tagline in his campaign, namely Together, Independent, and Happy.
"I offer a collaborative, inclusive, and enthusiastic leadership concept to bring ILUNI UI into a motorcycle for positive changes in society. As part of the ILUNI UI extended family, I am honored to be able to contribute and compete in a healthy manner for the position of Chairman," he said.
He carries the vision to make ILUNI UI an organization that provides added value for alma maters, the community, and the state.
He emphasized the active role of alumni through sustainable program innovation, as well as delivering UI alumni to a strategic role in national leadership.
Through his vision, he offers a collaborative joint work ecosystem, optimizes the potential of cross-cultural alumni, and builds a sustainable good culture.
"UI is not only a place where we gain knowledge, but also a house for strong networks. If managed properly, this network can have a big impact on the development of the nation and state," he assured.
According to him, ILUNI UI has extraordinary potential to become a driving force for change through alumni collaboration.
"With experience, vision, and spirit together, I believe we can make a real contribution that is sustainable," he added.

"For point B, I have prepared career and business development programs, the establishment of ILUNI UI-Owned Enterprises, strengthening UI Connect, SME Market, as well as scholarships and mentorship alumni. Finally, at point G I and my team have also prepared sports community programs, hobbies, Family Center and Child Center, as well as cross-discipline activities in the health sector," he explained.
In addition to Legal Undergraduates from UI, he also studied Computer Sciences at the Perbanas Institute, Postgraduate Communication Program in Binus, to Commercial Aviation Schools at ALFA Flying School.
