JAKARTA - The Cianjur District Court (PN) has postponed the pretrial hearing filed by AM, a suspect in the alleged corruption of Public Street Lighting (PJU) for the 2023 fiscal year at the Cianjur Regency Transportation Service (Dishub) on Friday, August 15.

Public Relations of the Cianjur District Court, Raja Bonar W Siregar, said that the trial led by the Sole Pretrial Judge Erli Yansah only lasted for a few dozen minutes where the judge only read out the petitioner's petition to the Cianjur Kejari.

"The trial was postponed until Friday (15 August) to give the respondent the opportunity, in this case the Cianjur District Attorney's Office (Kejaksaan Negeri) submitted an answer to the petition submitted by the applicant," he said in Cianjur Thursday, confiscated by Antara.

The trial of defendant AM's pretrial against the Cianjur Kejari on Friday, he said, with the agenda of the Cianjur Kejari's response and response to the pretrial petition submitted by the petitioner regarding the alleged PJU corruption case that dragged AM as a suspect.

"Although the two parties had attended, the judge decided that the trial would be postponed tomorrow (Friday) but it is not certain what time it will start, usually the trial starts between 00.00 WIB or 10:00 WIB," he said.

The Head of the Cianjur Kejari, Kamin, said that his party was ready to provide responses and answers to the pretrial petition submitted by the applicant for the suspect in the AM corruption case because it was his right.

In fact, his party believes that he will win in the pretrial hearing which was also proposed by the suspect Dadan Ginajar previously, where the judge rejected the application because it was in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations, including the search at the house of the suspect Dadan.

"We believe that in winning as at the same trial proposed by the suspect Dadan Ginanjar, we will answer one by one the applications submitted," he said.

As reported by the Cianjur District Attorney's Office, it confirmed that AM was a suspect in the alleged corruption case of Public Street Lighting (PJU) at the Cianjur Regency Transportation Service, the 2023 budget filed a pretrial.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Cianjur Attorney General's Office, Angga Insana Husri, said that his party invited the suspect's lawsuit because it was the right of citizens to seek justice and truth.
