JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), Bobby Rasyidin, did not fulfill his summons as a witness on Thursday, August 14.
He should have been asked for information regarding the alleged corruption of digitizing PT Pertamina's public fuel filling station (SPBU) in 2020-2023. Bobby was examined by investigators in his capacity as the former President Director of PT Len Industri for the period 2020-2025.
"The witness asked for a reschedule," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo when confirmed, Thursday night, August 14.
Budi did not specify what was the reason Bobby asked for a reschedule. He also did not specify when the exact examination would be carried out again.
Apart from Bobby, the KPK also summoned another witness, namely Judi Achmadi as an employee of PT Telkom; Binsar Pardede as SVP Solution Delivery of PT Sigma Cipta Caraka or a subsidiary of PT Telkom; and Heri Purnomo who is PT Sigma Cipta Caraka's VP of Procurement. However, there is no information about the material that the three people have studied.
Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.
To investigate this case, the anti-corruption commission has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.
From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and E as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.
The three suspects are suspected of causing losses to the state. This is because it is suspected that there was too much to pay for in the project which began when Pertamina imposed a policy of using the quick response (QR) code for customers who bought subsidized fuel oil (BBM).
