Central Java Governor Ensures Pati Is Conducive After The August 13 Big Demo

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi held a limited meeting with the Central Java Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) to discuss the development of the situation after August 13, 2025 in Pati Regency.

The meeting aims to ensure that government, economic and security services in Pati Regency return to normal. The former Central Java Police Chief revealed that he had taken a number of strategic steps, including deploying a special team to monitor the development of the situation and ensure public services continued without obstacles.

"From the Regional Autonomy Bureau, Economic Bureau, and Assistant for Economics and Development, it has helped, so that the wheels of the economy and investment in Pati continue. We are also coordinating cross-sectorally with community leaders to maintain conduciveness. Health agencies are also deployed to ensure health services run well," explained Luthfi, Thursday, August 14.

He added that coordination with the central government through the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) has also been carried out. "The team from the Ministry of Home Affairs has gone down to Pati, even theirjen has come there," he added.

Luthfi emphasized that the incident in Pati Regency must be a lesson for all regents and mayors to be more alert to monitor the development of the situation in their respective regions. Regarding the pressure to impeach the regent, he said that all submissions of the aspirations of the community had been facilitated in the Pati DPRD.

"The discussion is ongoing and just waiting for results. By 60 days it will be known. This is a constitutional process that must be transparent. The authority rests with the DPRD, not in the Provincial Government," he said.
