5 Suspects Of Judges In The Migor Export Bribery Case Undergo Trial In Jakarta Corruption

JAKARTA - The panel of judges who are suspects in the alleged bribery case related to the release sentence for the export of cooking oil (migor) will soon undergo its first trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor) next week.

The suspects in the case are Muhammad Arif Nuryanto (MAN) as former Chairman of the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Djuyamto (DJU) as chairman of the panel of judges, and Agam Syarif Baharudin (ASB) as a member of the panel of judges.

Then, Ali Muhtarom (AM) as a member of the panel of judges and Wahyu Gunawan (WG) as a clerk.

Spokesperson for II of the Central Jakarta District Court, Sunoto, stated that the inaugural trial for Djuyamto and the other two will be held on Thursday, August 21.

"On Thursday, the inaugural trial is scheduled for the defendants Djuyamto, Agam Syarief Baharudin and Ali Muhtarom," said Sunoto in his statement, Thursday, August 14.

Meanwhile, the other two suspects, Muhammad Arif Nuryanta and Wahyu Gunawan, will undergo their first trial on Wednesday, August 20.

To try the case, the structure of the panel of judges has been referred, one of which is the Deputy Chair of the Central Jakarta District Court, Effendi, who will be chairman of the assembly.

"The assembly will try the five defendants above, namely the chairman of the Effendi SH assembly with members Adek Nurhadi and ad hoc judge Corruption Andi Saputra," said Sunoto.

It is known that the panel of judges allegedly received bribes related to the verdict for releasing the export of cooking oil (migr). Judge Agam Syarif Baharudin, Gakim Ali Muhtaro, and Judge Djuyamto allegedly received Rp 22.5 billion.

They are suspected of conspiring with other suspects, namely Muhammad Arif Nuryanta as Chairman of the South Jakarta District Court; Marcella Santoso and Ariyanto as lawyers; as well as clerk Wahyu Gunawan.
