DKI Provincial Government Is Looking For New Food Station Boss, DPRD Asks For Strict Selection

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government conducted an auction or open selection of high-ranking officials of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya after the mixed rice case dragged the main director.

Responding to this, Member of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD M. Taufik Zoelkifli advised the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise Development Agency (BPBUMD) to be able to closely select potential Food Station bosses with a fit and proper test.

"There must really be a fit and proper test that is appropriate, which is strict. So that people with a capacity can get it and also have good integrity," Taufik told VOI, Thursday, August 14.

This strict selection, called Taufik, is very necessary so that BUMD in the field of food management can be trusted again by the public after a legal case that resulted in the former president director being a suspect.

"Indeed, the governor will appoint (who is elected in the open selection. But it is the BPBUMD that holds and submits the candidate to the governor," he said.

It is known that the open selection of directors of the Food Station was carried out after the adulterated rice case that dragged the President Director and Director of Operations and Business Food Station into a suspect. Now, both of them have resigned from their positions.

"The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the BUMD Development Agency invites the best and superior professionals to participate in the open selection process for the Board of Directors of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (Perseroda)," said Head of BPBUMD DKI Jakarta Syaefuloh Hidayat in his statement.

"Open selection is a strategic step to find the best candidates who have strong competence, integrity, and vision in advancing the company.
