KPK Secures 9 People During BUMN Inhutani V OTT In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested 9 people in Jakarta, Wednesday, August 13. They were caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) related to BUMN Inhutani V.

"Nine people were arrested," said KPK Deputy Chair Fitroh Rochicahyanto to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, August 13.

Of the nine people, Fitroh said, among them were the directors of BUMN Inhutani V and the private sector. However, he has neither been a figure nor an allegation that occurred so that OTT was carried out.

The KPK currently has 1x24 hours to examine parties caught in the OTT. Announcement of suspects and case construction will be submitted through a press conference.

The KPK is known to have just carried out a hand arrest operation (OTT) last August 7. From this activity, the KPK then named the East Kolaka Regent Abdul Azis as a suspect in the alleged bribery of the construction of a regional public hospital (RSUD) along with four other people.

Abdul Azis allegedly asked for a project fee of 8 percent or Rp9 billion from the construction of the East Kolaka Hospital, which amounted to Rp126.3 billion.

The other four suspects named were PIC of the Ministry of Health for the Development of the Andi Lukman Hakim Hospital, Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the East Kolaka Regional Hospital Development Project Ageng Dermanto, representatives of PT Pilar Pintar Putra (PCP) Deddy Karnady, and KSO of PT PCP Arif Rahman.
