According to the transformation theory, it is said that conflicts can occur due to inequality and injustice in various aspects that can be social, economic, and political.

The theory of human need is of the opinion that conflict can occur due to the emergence of needs or interests that fail to be met. Failure can be in the form of efforts to prevent other parties. There are three types of needs in this theory, namely substantive, procedural, and psychological.

Substantive needs include money, food, houses and clothing. Meanwhile, procedurality is related to the procedures for socializing in the community. Then psychological needs are related to non-material needs such as empathy, appreciation, and so on.
