Absent Three Times, Riza Chalid Is Immediately Hunted Through DPO And Red Notice

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will determine businessman Mohammad Riza Chalid (MRC) in the wanted list (DPO) this week. Riza is a suspect in the alleged corruption case of crude oil governance and refinery products.

"If the DPO is related to the MRC, God willing, this week the DPO will be determined," said the Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna at the AGO's office, Jakarta, Monday, August 11.

Riza Chalid is known to have been absent from the summons three times, namely on Thursday, July 24, Monday, July 28, and Monday, August 4. The AGO also decided to immediately include him in the DPO. In addition, the red notice application is also being processed.

"On process also in the red notice," said Anang.

Although Riza Chalid's exact position is not yet known, the investigation of the case is still ongoing. The AGO recently confiscated five luxury cars that were allegedly affiliated with him. Investigations of other assets are still being carried out.

"We are looking for the others," said Anang.

Previously, the Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Imipas) Agus Andrianto said Riza Chalid was still in Malaysia.

"We are monitoring, the exact information is still in Malaysia," said Agus at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/8/2025).

Agus also said that his party was waiting for the application for a red notice and the determination of a DPO from the AGO.
