Prabowo Returns To Jakarta After Attending Singapore's 60th National Day Celebration

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto left for Indonesia after attending the Singapore 2025 National Day Parade on Saturday 9 August evening which was lively at the National Gallery, Singapore.

From Singapore's Paya Lebar Air Base (PLAB) Air Base, the plane carrying the President and a limited entourage took off at 21:15 local time (WS).

The departure of the President to the country was released by Singaporean officials, namely Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Baskrishnan and Singaporean Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia Kwok Kook Seng.

In addition, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore Suryo Pratomo and the Defense Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore Colonel Hendra Supriyadi also seemed to release the President's departure.

The President's presence at this parade featured the closeness of President Prabowo with leaders of friendly countries, especially in the ASEAN region.

Like during a tea banquet by Singaporean Prime Minister (PM) Lawrence Wong, President Prabowo was seen sitting together on a round table with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izaddin Waddaulah, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, and Crown Prince of Johor Bahru Tunku Ismail Idris.

Not only that, while on the stage of honor, President Prabowo also approached Singapore's 3rd PM Lee Hsien Loong who was also present at the parade. The two of them looked chatting and threw warm smiles at each other.

Also accompanying President Prabowo on a flight from Singapore were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Head of the Special Development and Investigation Control Agency Aris Marsudiyanto.
