Previously, the incentive given to honorary teachers was Rp. 3.6 million per year in two stages, now assistance is set at Rp. 2.1 million per year and distributed in one direct disbursement to the teacher's account concerned. For this reason, the government set a deadline for the activation of the account until January 30, 2026.

For teachers at the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) level, the provisions still follow the previous rules, such as a minimum working period of 13 years, having a minimum high school/equivalent diploma, and being registered under the auspices of the education office. Incentives for PAUD teachers are still given amounting to IDR 2.4 million per year.
