The Attorney General's Office For The Status Of DPO Riza Chalid If He Is Absent From Today's Examination

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will include Riza Chalid's name on the People's Wanted List (DPO). Thus, the oil entrepreneur will be a fugitive.

"Later on, there will be legal steps that we will take. Yes, of course, we look forward to determining the DPO," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna to reporters, Monday, August 4.

The investigator's move to designate Riza Chalid as a fugitive was because he had never fulfilled the summons for questioning.

Since being named a suspect, Riza Chalid has been absent twice. Even today, which he may not attend.

"For the day until this afternoon I just checked with investigators there has been no confirmation from the person concerned, neither from his family nor from his legal advisors," he said.

If Riza Chalid is again absent from today's examination, the investigator will complete the administrative requirements to determine him as a fugitive.

"We are on process because we first complete all data including the summons mechanism, it will be completed first. Later, after we complete all the terms, we submit a Red Notice, including the determination of a DPO," said Anang.

Since being named a suspect, investigators are known to have twice scheduled an examination, precisely on July 24 and 28, 2025. However, Riza Chalid never attended it.

Circulating information, Riza Chalid is said to be in Malaysia. In fact, he has married a relative of the Sultanate of the neighboring country.

Then Dwi Sudarsono (DS) as Vice President and Product of the Head Office of PT Pertamina Persero 2018-2020; Martin Haendra Nata (MH) as the Development Manager Business of PT Travigura in 2019-2021; and Indra Putra Harsono (IP) as the Development Business Manager of Mahameru Kencana Abadi.

They were named as suspects because they were suspected of making direct appointments to the Merak fuel terminal with a high rental price that did not benefit Pertamina. In addition, formulate for Pertalite products are illegal.
