Appointed As Chairman Of PDIP, Megawati Prays For Titiek Suharto Healthy And Long Life

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Siti Hediati Hariyadi or Titiek Suharto congratulated Megawati Soekarnoputri on re-determining Megawati as chairman of the PDI-P.

"Congratulations to Mrs. Mega. May you succeed again in leading the PDIP," said Titiek at the DPR building, Friday, August 1.

The chairman of Commission IV of the DPR also prayed that Megawati would always be given health and a long life.

"Mother is given good health, and long life, and is useful for our nation and country," said Titiek.

Reportedly, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputrimi was re-determined as the General Chair of the PDIP in the 6th PDIP Congress which was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Bali, Friday, August 1.

In this forum, all cadres agreed to re-establish Megawati as General Chair for the period 2025-2030.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the 6th PDIP Congress, Komarudin Watubun.

"Earlier, when the opening was finished, the first trial was 100 percent asking for an urgent confirmation, so it was finished," said Komarudin.

Congress is the highest forum in PDIP to determine the General Chair of PDIP. This PDIP Congress was held behind closed doors from journalists.
