Ganjar's Response To The News Of Jokowi Being The PSI Board Of Trustees

DENPASAR - Chairman of the DPP for Government and Regional Autonomy of the PDI-P Ganjar Pranowo responded to the news that Joko Widodo (Jokowi) would become the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

Ganjar said his party respects the decisions of other political parties.

"I respect anyone citizen to choose any party," said Ganjar while attending the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) held by the PDIP DPP at the Bali Beach Convention Center located at The Meru Sanur, South Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Wednesday, July 30.

He stated that any Indonesian citizen who chooses to enter the party must remain respected.

"Anyone including you," he said.

Previously, the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) DPP Kaesang Pangarep leaked that the figure with the initials J would serve as Chairman of the PSI Board of Trustees.

"The initials are temporary, yes, the one with the initials J is willing to become the Chairman of the Board of Trustees," Kaesang told reporters after the inaugural meeting of the PSI DPP Management Formatur Team at the PSI DPP office, Central Jakarta, Monday (28/7).

Kaesang only mentioned the initials. He did not answer when asked about the initials J in question referring to the figure of his father, Joko Widodo alias Jokowi.

"Just look at it later, if not, it will be less curious," he said.
