KAI Ziarai Tomb Of Ramdlon Naning, Remembers The Service Of The Legal Warrior

YOGYAKARTA - The Indonesian Advocate Congress (KAI) held a pilgrimage and takziah to the graves of the late Ramdlon Naning, SH, MS, MM, and his wife, the late Hj. Sri Widya bint Wahono, at the Public Cemetery of Jalan Sidomulyo, Kricak, Tegalrejo District, Yogyakarta City, Saturday (26/7). Ramdlon Naning, one of the respected KAI legends and law enforcement fighters, died on November 17, 2024.

This activity was attended by the President of KAI, Dr. Nasrullah Nawawi, SH, MH; Secretary General of KAI, Dr. (C) Antoni, SH, MH; Chairman of the Advisory Board, Erman Umar, SH; Supervisory Board, Drs. Taufik Ch., SH, MH; Toni Sastra Jaya, SH, MH; as well as administrators of the KAI DPP and KAI DPD from various regions.

In his remarks, the President of KAI, Dr. Nasrullah Nawawi expressed his gratitude to the family of the deceased who had allowed the KAI entourage to make a pilgrimage. He also remembers the services of the deceased during his life who had many roles in the world of advocates, especially in KAI.

According to Nasrullah, the late Ramdlon Naning was not only a fan of events in court, but also an executive in organization. He is known to live a life of simplicity and has high integrity. His dedication to the advocate profession and advocate organizations is extraordinary.

I respect him. Not only encouraging in court, but also encouraging in organization. He has always lived a life of simplicity and is part of history that has integrity. His dedication to the profession and organization of advocates is extraordinary," recalled Nasrullah.

Chairman of the KAI DPP Advisory Board, Erman Umar, also remembers the deceased as a person who was committed to law enforcement in Indonesia and enforcement of the code of ethics. He is also known to really care about young advocates, especially in terms of coaching and dedication to professions and organizations.

"I have known the deceased since twenty-five years ago. He is a person who is committed to law enforcement in Indonesia and enforcing the code of ethics. His attention to young advocates is extraordinary, as well as his dedication to professions and organizations," said Erman.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of KAI, Dr. (C) Antoni, revealed that this pilgrimage is a tradition that continues to be preserved by the management of the KAI Central Executive Board, especially ahead of the commemoration of the KAI Anniversary every year.

"For us, pilgrimages to the graves of senior advocates are a tradition that must be preserved. Especially pilgrimages to the graves of the founders of KAI, the late Prof. Dr. Adnan Buyung Nasution (Bang Buyung); the first President of KAI, the late Indra Sahnun Lubis (Bang Indra); and other senior advocates. This is a form of respect for the elders and senior advocates who have died," said Antoni.

This pilgrimage ended with a prayer and a sowing of flowers as a form of respect for the deceased. A joint prayer is led by Drs. Taufik Ch.
