Taman Puring Market Burns, 28 Fire Cars Deployed

The fire hit the Taman Puring Market on Jalan Kyai Maja, Gunung Village, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta. The fire started at 18.00 WIB.

A total of 26 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire. Until this news was revealed, the fire had not yet been extinguished.

"The alleged cause is still being collected," said Head of the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Syamsul Huda in his statement, Monday, July 28.

At least, the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service deployed 85 officers to extinguish the fire. Joint officers also helped deal with the fire.

"It is being handled by the Disgulkarmat, P2B BPBD, PMI, AGD Health Office, Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, PLN, PSKB/Tagana Social Service personnel, Polsek personnel and Koramil personnel," he explained.

Huda said officers were also still recording the estimated losses caused by the incident.
