Langgar Discipline Heavy, Head Of Panggang Island Jakarta Temporarily Dismissed

JAKARTA - The Thousand Islands Regency Government has temporarily suspended Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin as the Head of Panggang Island for allegedly violating discipline as a Civil Servant (PNS).

"Fakih is known to have failed to fulfill two summons from the Head of the North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Angga Saputra, for clarification regarding the news regarding him," said Head of the Examining Team Denny Harnoko, Wednesday, July 23.

In addition, Muhammad Fakuh was also recorded as not attending work from 6 to 10 July 2025. On this basis, this case was reported to the Regent of the Thousand Islands, Muhammad Fadjar Chuniawan.

Then a Team for Examining Allegations of Civil Servant Discipline Violations was formed through Decree No. 291 of 2025 on July 11, 2025, consisting of elements of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspectorate, the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) and legal elements.

This team is chaired by Denny Harnoko who also serves as Head of Legal, Implementation and Personnel (HKK) Section of the Thousand Islands Regency.

This team is tasked with conducting an examination of Muhammad Fakh Burhanudin, who at that time served as the Head of Panggang Island.

Denny explained, after the case was carried out, it was found that Fakuh had not been to work for more than eight days.

Hal tersebut masuk dalam kategori pelanggaran disiplin berat. Atas pelanggaran tersebut, Camat Kepulauan Seribu Utara mengeluarkan Keputusan Nomor 32 Tahun 2025 tergal 16 Juli 2025 tentang Pemberhentian Sementara dari Tugas Jabatan atas nama Muhammad Fakih Burhanudin sebagai Lurah Pulau Panggang.

The Thousand Islands Regency Government has also reported the follow-up to this alleged violation to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Assistant.

"The Examining Team will still summon the person concerned and have scheduled a follow-up examination on July 22, 2025," he said.
