The cause of death of the Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan (39) is still dark. It has been 2 weeks since the police had not revealed the death of this young diplomat until Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

According to a source who claimed to be a friend of the victim Arya, based on the information from the boarding house guard, there were 2 new people who signed at the location. They entered one and a half months before Arya's death. "One person is like a member cut. He comes in the afternoon, comes home at night and always wears a jacket and uses a vehicle with an official number plate," said the source.

On the day Arya was found dead, the whereabouts of the new occupants were no longer visible. According to this source, there were bruises on the victim's right arm. "On the victim's right arm there was a bruises. And actually the victim's head was covered with plain white plastic bags, then yellow duct tape was covered," he said.

According to him, CCTV at the location can also be accessed by other people if it is connected. The reason is that the CCTV uses a WIFI network that can be accessed by other people who know the application. "That can be connected by others as long as he understands how to enter the CCTV application," he said.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Karyono, admitted that he could not confirm the truth of the news.
