JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating a project in Mandailing Natal Regency which was worked on by M. Akhirun Efendi Siregar, President Director of PT DNG. Former Mandailing Natal Regent Muhammad Jafar Sukhairi Nasution was questioned on Wednesday, July 16.
Meanwhile, M. Akhirun Efendi Siregar is one of five suspects in the alleged bribery of road construction projects at the PUPR Service and PJN Satker Region 1 North Sumatra.
"Investigators are investigating what projects the KIR suspect has obtained and worked on in Madina Regency," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, July 17.
Similar statements, continued Budi, were also investigated from four other witnesses. They are Taufik Lubis as Commissioner of PT Dalihan Natolu; Mariam as Treasurer of PT Dalihan Natolu; Maskuddin Henri who is the Director and Shareholder of PT Rona Na Mora; and Seri Agustina Melinda as Deputy Director of PT Dalihan Natolu.
