JAKARTA - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is preparing to re-launch a humanitarian ship carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Palestine.
The ship, named "Khalifa" carrying a complete field hospital to help civilians in the war-torn Gaza Strip, Palestine, will depart from Khalifa Port, Abu Dhabi, in the coming days, as reported by The National 17 July.
The ship will also transport ambulances, medical supplies, and drinking water tanker trucks to ensure access to clean water for Gazans.
From Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi, this ship will sail to Al Arish Port in Egypt.
Various kinds of food, such as ready-to-eat food and other products for public kitchens and field bakeries, as well as tents, aid and hygiene equipment, clothing, and mattresses, were also being loaded onto the ship before leaving.
It will be the eighth aid vessel sent by the UAE to support Gaza since the war with Israel broke out on October 7, 2023.
The UAE is known to have held an "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3" which was ordered by the Sheikh Mohamed resident, the money was carried out in collaboration with the Red Crescent Emirate and other humanitarian and charitable institutions in the UAE.
