National Police Chief Intervenes! Massive Evaluation Of Free Nutrition Food Programs

JAKARTA - The Head of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo asked the resort police (Polres) to evaluate the beneficiaries of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.

"Can re-evaluate MBG beneficiaries, as well as packaging, then distribution," said Listyo accompanied by North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution after laying the first stone for the construction of 29 kitchens of the North Sumatra Regional Police's Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, Jalan Sisingamangaraja Medan, Friday, July 11.

In addition, continued Listyo, it is necessary to evaluate the readiness of the SPPG before the MBG program runs.

The National Police Chief also said that the existence of this SPPG to support the implementation of free nutritious food is one of the government's priority programs.

"I thank all ranks who have worked seriously. Because this is a big program of the President, therefore I hope it will be done as well as possible," said Listyo.

The National Police Chief explained that the number of SPPGs in the North Sumatra Regional Police area that is already operating, then verifying, and will be built a total of 36 SPPGs.

He also ensured that by the end of this year it was targeted that the construction of the SPPG would continue to grow.

"This is the National Police's commitment to supporting the MBG program as an effort by the government to improve human resources (human resources)," he said.

"This SPPG is also expected to absorb work for the local community in preparing this nutritious meal," said Listyo.

Chairman of the North Sumatra SPPG Irwasda Polda North Sumatra Kombes Pol Nanang Masbudi reported that this SPPG will cooperate with the Primary Police Cooperative (Primkopol) to provide nutritious food.

"We report that the SPPG building with a land area of 20x20 square meters is equipped with rooms and kitchen utensils that match the technical cleanliness," he said.
