According to Itaar, initially the launch of the Red and White Cooperative would be held on July 12, 2025, but various considerations were postponed on July 19, 2025.
"President Prabowo plans to launch the Red and White Cooperative simultaneously and we will follow through zoom," he said.
He explained that the Red and White Holtekamp Cooperative, Muara Tami District will be a pilot project in Papua Province.

He added that the Red and White Cooperative is expected to improve the economy of the local community because it is not only borrowed but can also accommodate fisheries and agriculture, including medicines.
"This is different from other cooperatives so that it is hoped that red and white cooperatives can improve the welfare of the community," he said.
He said that there were nine administrators of each Red and White Cooperative and each year they continued to hold annual member meetings.
