Police Wait For The Autopsy Results Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Diplomat's Death At RSCM To Reveal The Cause Of Prosperity

JAKARTA - The body of Arya Daru Pangayunan (39), a young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu), was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of his death.

"When found, the victim was lying on the bed with his head covered with duct tape and his body covered with a blanket," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Tuesday, July 8.

The police chief emphasized that his party was still conducting further investigations by examining a number of witnesses, CCTV footage, and collecting evidence at the location.

"The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Team together with the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya are still investigating and analyzing all witness statements, CCTV, and other evidence to reveal the cause of death of the victim," he said.

The temporary evidence confiscated was 1 wallet belonging to the victim, which was cash IDR 419 thousand, the victim's ID card, driver's license and ATM card.

Currently, the police are still waiting for the autopsy results from a team of Forensic Doctors of the Central Jakarta RSCM to reveal the cause of death of the victim.

Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead with a yellow duct tape wrapped in the 'Gues House Gondia' indecoth in room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, Tuesday, July 8.

The victim is known to have the initials ADP (39) from Yogyakarta, Central Java. According to witness testimony, Siswanto, on Tuesday morning at around 00.30 WIB, he was called by the victim's wife that he had lost contact with her husband.

Then Siswanto was told to dredge the victim's room that night, but the witness did not hear any answer from the victim.

"In the morning the victim's wife called at 05.00 WIB to re-check the victim's room and report to the owner of Kosan Gues House Gondia," Siswanto said in his statement to the police.

After that, Siswanto opened the door of the victim's room using a duplicate key and found the victim covered in a blanket.

"The victim has died, his face has been filled with duct tape," he said.

Then the incident was reported to the Menteng Metro Police.
