Police Reveal Seconds Of Notary Murder In Bekasi

The police revealed how three suspects killed a female notary named Sidah Alatas (60) from Bogor whose body was found tied in the Citarum River, Kedungwaringin, Bekasi, West Java. Starting from stabbing with scissors to throwing it into the river.

Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra said the murder began when suspect A alias W invited AWK to steal the Sidah Alatas car, on June 30, early in the morning.

"At that time, suspect A alias W had prepared equipment in the form of scissors," Wira told reporters, Tuesday, July 8.

Suspect AWK agreed to the invitation. So, he contacted the victim. It is known, the suspect is a former driver from Sidah Alatas.

During the communication, the suspect invited the victim to meet at Bojong Gede Station, Bekasi. At that time, Sidah Alatas agreed to the invitation.

After meeting, the suspect and the victim toured using a car until almost midnight. At that time, the victim decided to take the suspect AWK to Bogor Station.

"They headed to Bogor Station with the aim of repatriating the suspect to a rented house in the Cibitung area. However, when they arrived at the station, it turned out that the train towards Cibitung was no longer there," he said.

Long story short, the next day, the suspects AWK and A and the victim were in the same car. They were going to the victim's notary office in the Bojong Gede area.

Before arriving at the location, suspect A immediately took out the scissors from his spare bag. Then, stabbed the victim's right side of the body.

"After being stabbed, seeing that the victim was still moving or still alive, suspect A then strangled the victim by using both hands for approximately 15 minutes," said Wira.

"Furthermore, the victim was moved to the right later. This is what moved suspect A," he continued.

Then, the two were suspected of taking the victim's body to the Cikarang area. Before throwing it away, the suspect asked suspect H for help.

Efforts to eliminate the traces were made on Wednesday, July 2. They decided to dispose of the victim's body in the Citarum River.

"Suspect A came down to open the trunk of the car and took the victim's body out. Suspect AWK raised the victim's head and suspect H lifted the leg. Then they threw it at the river," said Wira.

As a reminder, Sidah Alatas was previously reported missing on July 1, 2025 at the Tanah Sereal Bogor Police, West Java. A few days later, his whereabouts were found dead.
