A 39-year-old Man Was Found Dead With His Face Lacried In A Boarding House In Menteng

JAKARTA - A man was found dead with a yellow duct tape wrapped in a 'Gues House Gondia' boarding house room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

The victim is known to have the initials ADP (39) early Yogyakarta, Central Java.

According to witness testimony, Siswanto, on Tuesday morning at around 00.30 WIB, he was called by the victim's wife that he had lost contact with her husband.

Then Siswanto was told to knock on the victim's room that night, but the witness did not hear any answer from the victim.

"In the morning the victim's wife called at 05.00 WIB to re-check the victim's room and report to the owner of Kosan Gues House Gondia," Siswanto said in his statement to the police.

After that, Siswanto opened the door of the victim's room using a duplicate key and found the victim covered in a blanket.

"The victim has died, his face has been filled with duct tape," he said.

Then the incident was reported to the Menteng Metro Police. Meanwhile, the Menteng Metro Police forwarded a report to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Inafis Team for identification of the victim's body.

The head of the Meteng Metro Police, Kompol Rezha Rahandhi, confirmed the discovery of the body in the boarding room.

"From the initial examination, we still found the body, although the indication is that his face was taped, there are no signs of violence," he told VOI, Tuesday, July 8.

However, regarding the cause of death of the victim, the Menteng Police have not been able to confirm it.

"The victim is a 39-year-old boy. The motive is not yet known, we are still investigating. There are no signs of violence on the outside," he said.

The case is still in the process of being investigated by the Menteng Police Headquarters.
