Three tourists were dragged by the waves on Karangseke Beach, Wanasalam District, Lebak Regency, Sunday, July 6 afternoon. One of the victims reportedly died.

"The victim who died was named Syahrudin, then Revi was rescued and Vera is still being searched. All the victims are residents of Banjarsari District, Lebak," said Banten Basarnas Public Relations Officer Estu Riyadi, ANTARA, Sunday, July 6.

The marine accident occurred on Sunday, July 6, at 15.00 WIB when the victim was doing activities on the beach with others.

However, suddenly a big wave came and dragged the three victims into the middle of the sea.

The victim, on behalf of Syahrudin, was successfully evacuated to land and died, while Revi, who was also successfully evacuated, was finally rescued.

Meanwhile, Vera, he said, is still being searched and has not been found until tonight.

He said the possibility of looking for Vera's victim was continued Monday (7/7) morning, because the weather on Karangseke beach was still raining.

In addition, the second day of search involved a joint team from the SAR element.

"On the second day, we will carry out a method of land and water search, according to possible weather conditions," he said.
