JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta BPBD recorded that the number of flood inundation in a number of areas in the capital city of Jakarta had increased again to 42 RT from the previous 27 RT on Sunday, July 6 morning.
"Based on the update from 08.00 to 09.00 WIB, BPBD noted that currently there are 42 RT inundation in a number of Jakarta areas," said Head of the Data and Information Technology Center (Kapustdatin) of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Mohammad Yohan when confirmed by VOI.
A total of 42 RTs in the flooded area include 9 RTs in South Jakarta in Tanjung Barat Village, 2 RTs were flooded as high as 210 cm.
In Pejaten Timur Village, there are 4 RTs with a height of 220 cm. Manggarai Village, 3 RTs were inundated as high as 5 cm due to rainfall and overflowing Ciliwung rivers.
While the most areas are in East Jakarta, there are 33 RTs recorded in several urban villages that are flooded.
As in Bidara Cina Village, there are 14 RTs that were flooded as high as 180 to 200 cm due to overflowing Ciliwung rivers and rainfall.
"Kampung Melayu Village has 4 RTs with a water level of 175 cm. Balekambang Village, 3 RTs were flooded as high as 130 to 150 cm. Cawang Village has 7 RTs with water levels reaching 300 cm due to overflow and rainfall," he said.
Meanwhile, in Cililitan Village, 2 RTs were flooded as high as 250 cm and 3 RTs with a height of 100 to 140 cm.
"The area that has receded is 1 RT in Srengseng Sawah Village, 2 RTs in Lenteng Agung Village and 1 RT in Rawa Buaya Village," he said.
Regarding the flooded roads that have receded, they are located on Kamal Raya Street, Tegal Alur Village, West Jakarta. Jalan Ruko Mutiara Palem Raya, Kel. East Cengkareng, West Jakarta. West Outer Ring Road, Cengkareng Timur Village, West Jakarta.
