"We carried out a Al-Qur'an memorization test for participants who chose the Tahfidz route in self-selection," said ULM Chancellor Prof. Ahmad Alim Bachri as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, July 5.
He conveyed that all participants underwent a memorization competency test which included aspects of memorization (30 percent), tajwid (25 percent), and fasah or smooth reading (20 percent).
In addition, the achievement of the championship in the field of tahfidz is also calculated with an additional assessment weight of 20 percent.
All tahfidz participants also participated in the Computer-Based Mandiri Examination (UTMBK) such as other independent lane participants, a total of 3,968 people participated this year.

Prof. Alim revealed that ULM paid special attention to tahfidz students who were accepted.
