Head Of Semarang Bapenda Claims To Deposit IDR 1.2 Billion To Mbak Ita

Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Semarang City, Indriyasari, admitted that he gave Rp 1.2 billion to the former Mayor (Walkot) of Semarang Hevearita G. Rahayu or Mbak Ita, which came from an employee gathering fee at the regional tax collection institution.

"In accordance with Mrs. Ita's request, it is Rp. 300 million per quarter," said Indriyasari when examined as a witness in the trial of the alleged bribery case of the former Semarang Mayor at the Semarang Corruption Court, Monday, June 30, was confiscated by Antara.

Indriyasari said that each gift was given in December 2022, April 2023, July 2023, and in October 2023.

He revealed that the giving of money outside the official honorarium for additional income from the regional tax collection wage began when Mayor Hevearita G. Rahayu refused to sign a decision to disburse additional wage income for Bapenda employees at the end of December 2025.

According to him, until the end of the year, Heveraita had not signed a decree regarding the additional income.

The witness then took the initiative to ask Hevearita, who is the defendant in the case, about the decree that must be signed.

The defendant, according to Indriyasari, had asked why the additional share of the income he received was only as large as that stated in the submission decree. In fact, this amount is in accordance with applicable regulations, which is seven times the salary for 3 months.

The witness then said that he would provide additional income for levies sourced from the coffers of Bapenda employees in Semarang City.

The togetherness fee, he said, was collected an average of IDR 800 million to IDR 900 million per 3 months.

After it was agreed together with a number of structural officials at the Semarang City Bapenda, finally the provision of Rp. 300 million per 3 months for the defendant.

The defendant Hevearita, he said, then returned the money in January 2024 because it was allegedly related to an investigation by the KPK.

"It was handed over to me Rp900 million, then I handed it over to the KPK," he said in a trial chaired by Chief Judge Gatot Sarwadi.

Based on this testimony, the defendant Hevearita denied having asked for an additional income of IDR 300 million per quarter.

Mbak Ita said that witness Indriyasari, who stated that the additional income of Rp. 300 million had been passed down since the Mayor of Semarang before him.

In addition, the defendant also confirmed that he had returned all the money given by Indriyasari, amounting to Rp1.2 billion.

"The last one coincided with the return from Pak Arwin in Singapore dollar denominations which in total was around Rp. 1 billion," he said.
