Deputy Minister Of Home Affairs Closes Second Wave Regional Head Retret At IPDN

SUMEDANG - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto officially closed the second batch of regional heads at the campus of the Institute of Domestic Education (IPDN), Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java.

"Regional heads we respect, congratulations, you are currently on par with all regional heads who also take part in the retreat process," Bima said during the closing ceremony of regional head recruitment in Sumedang as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 26.

Bima explained that the retret of regional heads is an effort as well as a direct order from President Prabowo Subianto so that all levels of government, from the center to the regions, have one spirit and direction in preparing for Indonesia's future.

The retreat is acceleration, synchronization, collaboration, and synergy. Here, policies from the center are clearly conveyed, as well as evaluated and provided feedback by regional heads so that the strategies taken are more mature and effective," he said.

He said the first wave of retreat was previously carried out at the foot of the Tidar Valley, Magelang, while this second wave took place at the foot of Mount Manglayang, Sumedang.

For five days, regional heads together with IPDN praja participated in various debriefing activities.

During these four days of retret activities, regional heads were given six types of materials consisting of national resilience, national insight, Asta Cita, ministry and institutional programs, duties and functions of regional heads, political communication and team building.
