Police Say The Perpetrator Of The Stabbing On Radio Inner Is Still Underage

The police have the identity of the perpetrator who slashed a man with the initials FA (15) in the Radio Dalam area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Saturday, June 14.

"We already know his identity. The perpetrator is also a minor," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebayoran Baru Police, Kompol Suparmin to reporters in Jakarta, Monday, June 23.

Suparmin said the stabbing occurred on Saturday at around 02.00 WIB in the morning. Until now, the victim has not been able to be questioned because he is still recovering.

"The victim has not been examined. But according to information, maybe today he can return from the hospital," he said.

The police confirmed that the perpetrator and the victim did not know each other. The incident purely occurred in the context of a brawl.

The victim is currently being treated at Fatmawati Hospital Jakarta and cannot be asked for further information.

It was said at first that the victim claimed to be being chased by someone. The victim's parents have reported the case and the police are still investigating.

A video circulated showing two motorcyclists chasing each other. The motorcyclist who was chasing from behind was riding with someone carrying a sickle weapon.

Then, the victim in front hit a wall and fell. The perpetrator immediately directed the sickle at the victim and fled.
