JAKARTA - The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize from Iran as well as a human rights advocate, Narges Mohammadi, emphasized that war will not bring democracy.
The woman who received the award in 2023 for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran, according to NobelPrize.org, stressed against the Israeli and US military attacks on her homeland.
"What I believe in is that war never brings democracy, human rights, or freedom," Mohammadi said in his X account, Monday, June 23.
Separately, Mohammadi assessed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has "leaded us to hell while promising freedom".

He added that violence would not produce completely concrete and non-interventional solutions.
"[I] don't believe a US bomb can free the Iranian people," Mohammadi said in an interview with Norwegian newspaper, Klasselampen.
As a prominent female rights activist, Mohammadi is known to have been an active activist criticizing the Iranian government. He has been jailed several times by the government.
