Bengkulu Prosecutor's Office Searches The Indonesian Post Office For Corruption Cases

JAKARTA - The Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Special Crime Investigation Team (Pidsus) conducted a search at the Bengkulu Main Branch of PT Pos Indonesia Office regarding the alleged corruption case of misuse of financial management.

"Today, Friday, June 20, 2025, the Special Investigation Team of the Bengkulu High Prosecutor's Office together with the head of the investigation team who is also the Assistant Supervisory of the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office Andri Kurniawan has conducted a search at PT Pos Indonesia in the Bengkulu area," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office, Ristianti Andriani, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 20.

Meanwhile, Head of the Special Crime Investigation Section of the Bengkulu Attorney General's Office, Danang Prasetyo, said that his party had attempted to forcefully search PT Pos Indonesia KCU Bengkulu, which is located on JlS Parman, Bengkulu City.

The search was carried out in connection with alleged legal acts of abusing the authority over financial management at the PT Pos Indonesia Office, Bengkulu Main Branch.

"We received a report from the SPI Head Office of PT Pos Persero Indonesia, then we followed up and today we are carrying out a forced search," he said.

During a forced search conducted at the PT Pos Indonesia Bengkulu Main Branch office, the Bengkulu Special Prosecutor's Office investigator team confiscated a number of documents, computers and others related to the case.

According to Danang, the alleged corruption case at the office of PT Pos Indonesia, Bengkulu Main Branch, caused state losses of billions of rupiah.
