JAKARTA - Iran's ballistic missile attack in the Israeli city of Ramat Gan damaged buildings and cars around the blast radius.

The missile that hit the region east of Tel Aviv shortly at around 07.00 a.m. local time, Thursday, June 19, damaged the building's fault and broke windows in high building blocks.

The debris from the explosion hung from windows of several buildings, while the falling debris damaged cars on the streets below and covered the entire area with shrapnel and dust.

Emergency response officers closed a crossroads near the impact site when they began reviewing the damage on Thursday morning.

The missiles that hit Ramat Gan were part of a series of missile attacks that hit a hospital in Beer Sheva, southern Israel, and in Holon south of Tel Aviv.

The SAR team was deployed to various impact locations, said Golan Landsberg, an emergency response officer in the Israeli military.

"We sent teams to various locations of the attack. I came here because of the density of this area and the number of potential victims - people who need to be evacuated - according to our estimates high. And this may be the highest damage in this round," Landsberg told CNN.

"Anyone who lives in a safe room is not affected by the attack. (There is) major damage to the apartment, but the safe space is complete and safe," he added.
