The police have dispatched an Inafis team to conduct a crime scene (TKP) in the alleged burning of a house in the Kesambian Hamlet, Situbondo, East Java.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Situbondo Police, AKP Agung Hartawan, said that Inafis was deployed to determine the cause of the fire belonging to a resident named Ennik (60) on Monday, June 16.
"After we received reports of a fire from the community, we immediately dispatched Inafis members to the location of the fire and there were people who were abused by their children," he said in Situbondo, Wednesday, June 18, which was confiscated by Antara.
Agung said the house was allegedly deliberately burned by Enik's biological child.
Agung explained that the incident began when Enik's biological child heard information that his mother was being abused by her half-brother. This irritated Ennik's biological child.
"It was annoying because the house was used as a fight and continued to be questioned. The house's rights belonged to the mother of the child who abused it, and then the house was burned down," said Agung.
