JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that he received reports that there were still Microtrans drivers on Jak Lingko services carrying reckless passengers.

"Regarding recklessness, I also received reports about this. Of course, reckless things must be brought under control," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Wednesday, June 18.

Pramono telag ordered PT Transjakarta to warn to provide guidance to Microtrans drivers to drive transportation by maintaining passenger safety.

If there is a driver who does not heed the instructions, Pramono will not hesitate to dismiss the person concerned.

"If it can't be brought under control, then I will ask to be dismissed," said Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono also admitted that he had complained from the public about the lack of the number of Microtrans fleets on certain routes. This is due to the limited number of units operating.

Currently, Pramono ensures that the government continues to procure fleets to increase the affordability of public transportation services, which are currently free.

"For Jaklingko, yesterday the complaint was waiting for him for too long, now the unit has started to be added, so waiting for him now is not too long," explained Pramono.
