JAKARTA - United States President Donald Trump called for an unconditional surrender as Israel and Iran continue to attack each other since the conflict broke out last week.

President Trump's comments, delivered via social media, show a more aggressive attitude towards Iran as he considers whether to deepen US involvement.
"We know exactly where the so-called 'Highest Leader' is hiding," he wrote on Truth Social.
"We will not kill him (kill him!), at least not for now. Our patience is running low," he continued.
Three minutes later, he uploaded, "Submission unconditionally!"
A White House official said President Trump spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by telephone on Tuesday, confirming reports from Axios.

Separately, Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, said Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, could face the same fate as Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, who was ousted in a US-led invasion and hanged in 2006 after trial.
