President Prabowo Leaves For Singapore For State Visit, Gibran Rakabuming Lets Go At Airport

JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto left for Singapore for a state visit on Sunday afternoon, June 15, 2025. The President and his limited entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 18.20 WIB.

President Prabowo's departure was released by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia. Upon arrival in Singapore, President Prabowo is scheduled to hold a number of important agendas on Monday, June 16, 2025.

President Prabowo will be officially welcomed at a state ceremony by Singapore's President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, which will be held at the Singapore Parliament House, marking the close diplomatic relations between the two countries. In addition, in a series of visits, President Prabowo will also make a courtesy call with President Tharman.

"Not only meeting with the President of Singapore, it is planned that President Prabowo Subianto will also attend a bilateral Leaders' Retreat meeting with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana in a written statement received by VOI.

This visit is a strategic momentum to strengthen the partnership between Indonesia and Singapore in various sectors. Also accompanying President Prabowo Subianto on a flight to Singapore were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
